در اين تاپيك سعي مي كنم شروع كنم به معرفي كتاب هاي معماري و همچنين مجلات
فكر مي كنم بهتره فعلا كتاب هاي ايراني و خارجي و مجلات در يك تاپيك باشن بعدا اگه ديديم كه خيلي استقبال شد از اين تاپيك و تعداد پست ها زياد شد تاپيك هاي جداگانه اي رو به اونها اختصاص ميديم. از تمام شما دوستانم هم تقاضا مي كنم كمك كنيد تا اين تاپيك پر بارتر بشه.

Doctor Vahid Ghobadian has been assistant professor in The state university of Ohio, and has taught in the university of Iran since 1985 till date, these university include The AbouAhisina university of Hamedan, Tehran university, The Azad Islamic university of Tehran, Imam Khomeini university in Ghazvin, pardis university in Isfehan, The Azad Islamic university in Kerman, The Sahand Industrial university in Tabriz and The Azad Islamic university in Ghazvin.

دكتر وحيد قباديان در سال 1956 در تهران به دنيا آمد.مدرك ليسانس را در سال 1981 و فوق ليسانس را دز سال 1983 دردانشگاه ايالت اوهايو در آمريكا در رشته معماري گرفت .بعد از بازگشت به ايران او مدرك دكتري را در دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي در سال 2000 گرفت.دكتر وحيد قباديان در دانشگاه اوهايو دستيار استاد بود و از سال 1985 در دانشگاه هاي ايران تدريس مي كرد از جمله دانشگاه ابو علي سينا در همدان ،دانشگاه تهران،دانشگاه ازاد اسلامي تهران،دانشگاه اما م خميني در قزوين،دانشگاه پرديس در اصفهان،دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي كرمان ،دانشگاه صنعتي سهند در تبريز و دانشگاه آزاد اسلامي قزوين .

كتاب خارجي
خوب يكي از مهم ترين و از طرفي كم ياب ترين !! منابع ما كتاب هاي زبان اصلي معماري هستند كه متاسفانه قيمت هاشون هم به طرز وحشتناكي بالا هست و اگه در دانشگاه محل تحصيلتون كتابخونه درست و حسابي نداشته باشين مثل ما ! http://www.psc.ir/forum/images/smilies/Smileys/soot.gif واقعا دردسر دارين براي گير اوردن اين كتاب ها
يكي از كتاب هاي معروف كه حتما فكر مي كنم دست هر دانشجوي معماري يكي هست و يا لااقل يك بار اونو ديده همين كتاب خانم زاها حديد هست

مي خوام يه كتاب بهتون معرفي كنم از فيليپ استارك يه كتاب كوچك و مختصر كه فقط شامل عكس هايي از پروژه هاي معماري و طراحي و ديزاين هاي استارك هست.
ديزاين ها شامل كيف و كفش و لباس و مبلمان و دستگيره و خلاصه هر چي فكرشو بكنيد در كتاب هست و انصافا هم كتاب جالبي هست .اين هم اطلاعات كتاب

كتابي كه مي خوام معرفي كنم يكي از كتابهاي خوب و پايه اي شهرسازي در زمينه طراحي شهريه. با توجه به اينكه در حال حاضر هيچكدوم از صاحبنظران عرصه شهرسازي به تعريف واحد و مشخصي از "طراحي شهري" نرسيدن،اين كتاب ميتونه مقدمه بسيار مناسبي براي ورود به اين عرصه باشه.
عنوان كتاب: كندوكاوي در تعريف طراحي شهري.

1- مقدمه:
"هدف از اين نوشتار،كندوكاو در تعاريف گوناگوني است كه دانشمندان از مفهوم "طراحي شهري" پيشنهاد كرده اند. " (ص1)
تو اين بخش نحوه بررسي در هدف تحقيق رو نوشته. بر سهل و ممتنع بودن تعريف طراحي شهري هم اشاره كرده و گفته كه سهله چون بسياري از صاحبنظرا در موردش تعريف ارايه كردن و ممتنع چونكه با نگاهي عميقتر به اين تعاريف، ارايه تعريف واحد و مشخص كه در برگيرنده تمامي خصيصه هاي اين رشته باشه،بسيار دشواره.
در آخر هم گفته كه براي شناخت محورها و خصايص مورد مناقشه صاحبنظران، در اين پژوهش از روش "تحليل محتوا" استفاده كرده. يعني از بين آثار مكتوب كساني كه در اين زمينه صاحب انديشه و كلام اند، ساختمايه هاي اصلي مفهوم طراحي شهري رو بيرون كشيده و اونا رو مقايسه كرده.
2- زمينه ظهور و رواج رشته طراحي شهري.
الف- بسياري از نظريه پردازان طراحي شهري رو به عنوان واكنشي درقبال شكست جنبش معماري مدرن مي دونن. كه تكوين و رشد اون به دليل توجه روز افزون به واقعيتيه كه معماري مدرن ازش غافل بوده : تجربه انساني شهر.
ب- يه عده ديگه معتقدند كه اين رشته از عدم توفيق رشته برنامه ريزي شهري در پرداختن و سامان دهي محيط مصنوع نشات گرفته.
پ- شكاف و فاصله بين معماري و برنامه ريزي شهري هم يكي از مهمترين دلايل پيدايش اين حرفه معرفي شده.

به طور كلي دلايل ايجاد و رونق اين رشته به دو دسته عوامل متقدم و عوامل متاخر تقسيم شدن. عوامل متقدم همون علل پديد آورنده اين رشته هستند و عوامل متاخر باعث تداوم و رواج اون شدن.
(تاريخ شكلگيري رسمي اولين دوره هاي طراحي شهري در امريكا و در دهه 1960 عنوان شده)
3- تعاريف متقدمان از طراحي شهري(بخشي و جزء گرايانه)
- اولين تلقي ها از طراحي شهري تحت عنوان "معماري بزرگ" (خاص معدودي معماران بزرگ زمان) ياد شده.
- طراحي فضاي بين ساختمانها از ديگر تعاريف اين دوره بوده.
- يكي از مفاهيم اصلي طراحي شهري، مفهوم "ايجاد ارتباط" ـه كه تو تعريف كلارنس اشتاين(1955) اومده : " طراحي شهري هنر خلق ارتباط بين ابنيه با يكديگر و همچنين خلق ارتباط بنن ابنيه و قرارگاه طبيعيشان مي باشد،به نحوي كه امكان زندگي معاصر فراهم آيد."
- خصلت زيبايي شناختي هم يكي از مهمترين خصايص طراحي شهري در تعاريف بوده. ( گوت هايم Gutheim 1963 )
- خصيصه سه بعدي بودن از متداول ترين ويژگيهاي مورد اشاره صاحبنظران بوده.
- "بزرگي موقعيت مداخله" هم همينطور/
- بطور كلي در تعاريف متقدم اين رشته، يا تاكيد بر فرم بوده و يا عملكرد. در صورتي كه بعدها توسط متاخران اين امر رد شده.
(به خاطر اينكه متن داره خيلي زياد ميشه و احتمالا خوندنش از حوصله خارجه.... از اين به بعد فقط عنوان فصلها رو ميارم.)
4- خصيصه هاي بنيادين طراحي شهري.
تو اين فصل 9خصيصه اصلي طراحي شهري تبيين شده.
5- تاريف متاخران از طراحي شهري ( جامع و كل گرا)
6-نتيجه گيري
تو فصل آخر مولف سه مولفه اصلي رو به عنوان مولفه هاي سازنده كيفيت كلي طراحي شهري نام برده:
-كيفيات عملكردي
-كيفيات تجربي-زيباشناختي
-كيفيات زيست محيطي
در نهايت تعريف پيشنهادي خودش رو اينطور عنوان كرده:
"طراحي شهري فعاليتي است ميان رشته اي و گروهي كه توامان در برگيرنده فرآيند مسئله گشايي و راه حل هايي (فرآورده هايي) است كه هدفشان سازمان بخشي كالبدي عرصه عمومي شهري به نحوي است كه موجب ارتقاي كيفيات عملكردي، زيست محيطي و تجربه زيباشناختي مكانهاي شهري گردد."

کریم طاهر زاده بهزاد از معماران پیشگام آعاز قرن اخیر در ایران است او در زمان تبعید آزادیخواهان مشروطه در سال 1286 شمسی (1908) میلادی مجبور به ترک وطن شد و در دوران محاجرت در دانشکده هنرهای زیبای استانبول و آکادمی معماری برلین به تحصیل معماری پرداخت در سال 1305 او از اولین آرشیتکتهای ایرانی تحصیل کرده بود که به ایران بازگشت و به فعالیت معماری پرداخت .
اولین اثر طاهر زاده بهزاد در ایران آرامگاه فردوسی . تجلی دیگاه گرایشهای باستانی . تاریخی و هویت ایرانی بود او با استفاده از عناصر و موتیف های محلی و غیر محلی توانایی خود را در ارئه شیوه ای جدید در معماری به نمایش گذاشت .گزسنش آزاد در تزئینات و استفاده از موتیف ها و عناصر شیوه های مختلف در برخی بناها از جمله بیمارستان شاهرضا در مشهد او را به سوی نوعی معماری که رنگ و بوی محلی دارد رهنمون ساخته . بناهای او در بنگاه راه آهن ضمن حذف ترئنات محلی و ساده تر شدن بنا گرایش به جریان معماری آرت دکو با مراجع بین الملی را ارائه میکند .

استاد درک و بیان محیط به ما ترم اولی ها این کتاب رو معرفی کرده، تا آلان که استفاده ای ازش نداشتیم و فکر نکنم تا آخر ترم یک هم استفاده ای ازش بکنیم:biggrin: یه استاد منگیه که خدا میدونه، از روز اول اومده میگه: 5تا طرح از فلان جا بکش از بلان جا بکش:mad: هیچی هم بارمون نیس، هر چی میکشیم میگه: این چیه! خسته نباشی!

درست عزيزم الان ممكنه بدردت نخوره ولي براي طراحي هر چيزي بايد ازش استاندارد دربياري . خيلي هم ناراحت نباش استاداي ما هم ترم 1 ميگفتن بريد انصراف بديد ولي تا ترم 7 كه فعلا رسيديم . مشكل اينكه استادا فكر ميكنن دانشجوي بيچاره بايد از روز اول معمار باشه مگه خودشون بودن !

سلام. من اول همین ترم یه سری کتاب خریدم که 3 تاشون خیلی بدردم خورد.شاید خیلی هاتون با این کتابا آشنا باشید ولی اسماشون می گم برا اونا که شاید اسمشون و نشنیدن.:1.رنگ مدرن(کاربرد رنگ در معماری داخلی) .نویسنده :سارا لینچ.:تو این کتاب در مورد خصوصیات رنگها و اینکه چه رنگی تو چه فضایی کاربرد داره توضیحات مفیدی هست.2.چهل کلید معماری داخلی خانه .ترجمه و تالیف فریدون کسرایی.:این کتاب خیلی جامع و کامله .از تعریف کلی فضاهای مسکونی و نورپردازی ها گرفته تا جزئیات کف سازی و در و پنجره ها مطلب داره.من که خیلی ازش استفاده کردم و به نظرم حیفه جاش تو کتابخونه ی دانشجوی معماری خالی باشه!3. دایره المعارف معماری و شهر سازی.نوشته ی سید ابوالقاسم سید صدر. من این کتاب و مثل کتابای دیگه ی اقای سیدصدر می پسندم. همون طور که از اسمش معلومه کلمات واصطلاحات رشتمو ن و (چه آسون وچه سخت) توضیح می ده.داشتن این کتاب برای بچه های ترمای پائین تر خیلی می تونه مفید باشه.امیدوارم اگه تا حالا از این کتابا استفاده نکردین تهیشون کنیدو بدرتون بخوره.

اگه کسی دنبال اینه که چطور بتونه طرحی رو که تو ذهنشه رو کاغذ بیاره و دنبال مفاهیم کانسپت می گرده کتاب آرمانشهر اسکینر از آقای اسکینر خیلی مفیده . عالیه . حتما بخونید و از فضاهایی که توصیف می کنه طرح بزنین . برا تمرین خوبه;)

هدف نویسنده در تالیف کتاب این است که ابتدا آثار را طبق زمان و سپس بر مبنای سرزمینهای جغرافیایی معرفی کند تا پیشرفتهایی را که طی سده های دراز رخ داده و نیز تنوعاتی را که در مناطق گوناگون به وجود آمده تصویر کند زیرا دنیای اسلام سرزمینی وسیع است و طبعا جمعیت آن از همه نژادهای شناخته شده بشری تشکیل یافته است.
ضرورت ایجاب می کرد که این کتاب به فصلهای جداگانه تقسیم شود تا از بیشتر کتابهایی که درباره هنر اسلامی تالیف شده قابل تشخیص باشد زیرا اغلب کتابهای موجود درباره هنر اسلامی معمولا یا بر اساس محدوده جغرافیایی یا بر مبنای مواد و مصالح تدوین شده است.

منم كتاب تنها دويدين (نشر چشمه) از نادر خليلي به شما معرفي ميكنم و پيشنهاد ميكنم كه حتما بخونيدش.
متاسفاه نويسندش چند روز پيش فوت كرد .
اما نادر خليلي واقعا براي من يه الگوبود. براي اينكه بخواد به هدفش برسه چه ملامت هايي ميكشه
و ميخواد اثبات كنه با عناصر چهار گانه ميشه خانه امني ساخت و اسمشون ميزاره گل تافتن.
حتما بخونيد. نثر روان و داستان واري داره و ازش لذت ميبريد

Great to refresh my memory of a visit some 35 years ago in preparation for a re-visit later this year

There have been some rumors concerning a previous edition. I have just been to Iran (in September 2006). The 2004 edition is as witty and informative as any Loney Planet book. When compared with two German books for travelers it is a notch above the others. I haven't found any insensitive or belittling remarks only the usual sarcasm, just as the description of Ahvaz: "Unremitting Iraqi bombing during the Iran-Iraq War didn't beautify it and subsequent redevelopment has faild to offer much inspiration." Some telephone numbers and addresses are however outdated.
Summary: A welcome replacement for the previous edition.

These are some excerpts from the new edition from the section entitled 'The National Psyche':
"Iranians are the most surprising people. Where you might expect them to be austere they are charming; rather than dour, they are warm, and instead of being hostile to foreigners, they are welcoming and endlessly curious".
"Iranians are not frightening people. They are generally warm and welcoming to an extent that can be embarassing to Westerners."
"...the Iranian system of courtesy [...] makes Iran a haven for travellers - you will be treated with unfailing politeness wherever you go."
Now compare this with the attitude taken by the racist idiot who wrote the previous (third) edition and one realises what a huge difference it makes when the guide authors actually appreciate and enjoy being in the country about which they write.
A welcome (and IMO absolutely necessary) new edition of the guide. Lonely Planet has shown shrewd judgment in replacing the previous one as well as its author.

مطالعه کنید خیلی عالی

دیگه دانشجوهاش نیست . . .
همه از روی منظره ( نه عکس و غیره . . .) و به صورت صریع کشیده شده . . .
به نظر من فوق العاده خوشگل هستن :

درباره ی دیتیلم والا یه بار استاد ما یه کتاب بهمون معرفی کرد (که البته اسمشو فراموش کردم!) ولی من کل انقلاب و زیر و رو کردم هیچ کدوم نداشتن! کلا دیگه تجدید چاپ نشده بود!!!:w05:

سه شنبه باید یه تصویر از پلان یا نمای یه ساختمون که تناسبات داشته باشه بیشتر ساختمونای قدیمی ببرم باید تناسباتشم پیدا کنم می شه بگید از کجا میتونم پیدا کنم؟

معماري فرم فضا نظم... فرانسيس دي كي چينگ. يه بخش در مورد تناسبات طلايي داره.
زيبا شناسي در معماري ... يورگ گروتر... اينم يه بخش داره كه آندره پالاديو از تناسبات موسيقي استفاده كرده .
يه نمونه هم لوكوبوزيه داره... كه ويلا استين هست .اونم نما و پلانش تناسبات دارن.

عزيزم اكثر كتابهاي زبان اصلي با عنوان Houses يا House design و...مدارك كامل پروژه رو دارن...مثلا مي توني به كتاب urban houses مراجعه كني كه درباره خونه هاي ويلايي كوچك هست و مدارك كاملشون رو هم داره.

نمی دونم جای مطرح کردن این سوال این جا هست یا نه؟ اگر نیست لطفا راهنماییم کنید جاش کجاس،
من می خوام کتاب ترجمه کنم اما نمی دونم باید از چه طریقی اقدام کنم، یعنی می خوام کتابی که ترجمه می کنم به درد دانشجو های معماری و ... بخوره یعنی طالب داشته باشه، از کجا باید اینو بفهمم؟ از کجا باید بفهمم کتاب مورد نظرم ترجمه شده یا نه و این که برای اینکه کتابی که ترجمه می کنم چاپ بشه باید چکار کنم؟

سلام دوستان
مي خواستم يه كتاب خوب معرفي كنم . "تكه انگاري ، فرآيندي در طراحي معماري " از "دكتر علي اصغر
اديبي "
فكر مي كنم يكي دو ماهي مي شه از زير چاپ در اومده ! اين كتاب در مورد طراحي به روش كلاژه و
رسيدن به معماري از طريق رسيدن به فضاها ، ويژگي جالبش گذاشتن پروژه هاي دانشجوهايي كه با اين
روش كار كردن تو فصل سوم كتابه كه خود دانشجوها سير كارشونو توضيح دادن و عكساي كلاژها و ماكت
ها و نقشه هاشونم گذاشتن .
چون خودم ترم پيش با همين استاد براي اولين بار اين روش رو تجربه كردم و معجزشو ديدم بهتون توصيه
مي كنم يه نگاهي به اين كتاب بندازين . براي كساني كه با روش كانسپت حال نمي كنن و نمي دونن
پروژشونو چه جوري شروع كنن روش خوبيه !

He stresses the importance of intelligent design in dealing with such problems as overheating and overcooling, excessive energy use, leaky roofs and windows, fire safety, and noisy interiors. He serves up some surprises: thermal insulation is generally a better investment than solar collectors; board fences are not effective noise barriers; there’s one type of window that can be left open during a rainstorm. The new edition emphasizes “green” architecture and eco-conscious design and construction. It features a prologue on sustainable construction, and includes new information on topics such as the collapse of the World Trade Center, sick building syndrome, and EIFS failures and how they could have been prevented. Allen also highlights the array of amazing new building materials now available, such as self-cleaning glass, photovoltaics, transparent ceramics, cloud gel, and super-high-strength concrete and structural fibers. Edward Allen makes it easy for everyone–from armchair architects and sidewalk superintendents to students of architecture and construction–to understand the mysteries and complexities of even the largest building, from how it recycles waste and controls the movement of air, to how it is kept alive and growing.

نگاهی به کتاب «معماری ايران»
كتاب «معماری ايران» اثر «آرتور پوپ» با ترجمه «غلامحسين صدريافشار» در آستانه بيستودومين نمايشگاه بينالمللي كتاب تهران به چاپ هفتم رسيد.
مدير توليد انتشارات اختران با بيان اين خبر گفت: «اين كتاب مقدمهاي براي آشنايي با برخي جنبههاي معماری ايران است كه نميتوانيم آن را تاريخ معماری ايران بدانيم زيرا تاريخ معماری ايران هنوز راه درازي دارد تا نوشته شود.»
«سعيد اعرابي اردهالي» افزود: «اصل اين كتاب در سال 1965 ميلادي به رشته تحرير درآمده است. معماری در ايران بيش از 6000 سال تاريخ پيوسته دارد و دستكم از 5000 سال پيش از ميلاد تا به امروز، با نمونههاي اختصاصي كه در ناحيه پهناوري از سوريه تا شمال هند، مرزهاي چين، قفقاز تا زنگبار پراكنده است.»
وي افزود: «بناهاي ايراني متنوع است. كلبههاي دهقاني، قهوهخانهها، كوشكها، زيباترين و شاهانهترين ساختمانهايي كه جهان به خود ديده است، برخي پلهاي عظيم و باشكوه معماری ايران در طول تاريخ از جمله بناهاي كهن ايراني را شامل ميشود.»
«اعرابي» يادآور شد: «معماری آثار تاريخي ايراني در گام نخست داراي مفهوم و هدف ديني، خصلت جادويي و دعايي است. همچنين طرح راهنما و شكل دهنده نمادگرايي كيهاني در معماری ايراني به روشني نمايان است كه انسان به وسيله آن با نيروهاي آسماني پيوند مييابد.»
وي به اهداف اصلي كتاب «معماری ايران» اشاره كرد و گفت: «استادان دانشكدههاي معماری بايد بررسي آثار معماری ايران را هر چه بيشتر در برنامه تحقيقات فارغالتحصيلي دانشجويان قرار دهند و از آنان بخواهند تا اين بناها را از جنبههاي هنري، فني، صنعتي و كاركردي بررسي كنند.»
مدير توليد انتشارات اختران به كارآيي كتابهاي معماری اشاره كرد و گفت: «چنين پژوهشهايي نه تنها شناخت ما را از آثار نياكانمان بيشتر ميكند بلكه ممكن است به پيدايش معماری بومي تازهايي مطابق با نيازهاي كنوني بينجامد.»
اين كتاب در 10 بخش تنظيم شده است. «از نخستين تمدنها تا سقوط هخامنشيان»، «سلوکيان، اشکانيان، ساسانيان: بازنمايي شکلهاي ايراني»، «آغاز عصر اسلامي: هدفهاي نو»، «سلجوقيان: ساختمان، مظهر زيبايي، مفهوم و کارکرد تزئينات ايراني»، «مغول: ويراني و عظمت»، «تيموريان: پالايش و فراواني»، «اوج صفويه» و «گزيدهاي از شکلها و مسايل ساختماني» از جمله بخشهاي مختلف اين كتاب است.
فهرست عكسهاي رنگي از جمله تختجمشيد بخشي از سرستون به شكل سر گاو نر در آپادانا، مسجد جامع يزد، مسجد جامع اصفهان، مسجد گوهرشاد مشهد، مقبره ماهان، كاخ عاليقاپو، گزيده تاريخ، نقشه ايران، يادداشتها، گزيده کتابشناسي، منابع تصويرها و فهرست رهنما پايان بخش اين كتاب بهشمار ميآيد.
مولف اين کتاب«آرتور پوپ» Artrhur Upham Pope)) مدت پنجاه سال با هنر ايران سرو کار داشت، بسياري از شاهکارهاي آن را در داخل ايران بررسي کرده و آثار کارشناسان و صاحبنظران را در آن باب خوانده بود. او سالها از عمر خود را در ايران سپري کرد و کتاب 16 جلدي بررسي هنر ايرانA Survey of Persian) Art) جامعترين مرجع و ماخذ موجود درباره هنر ايران است. پوپ 12 شهريورماه 1348درگذشت و بنابر وصيتش در اصفهان به خاک سپرده شد.
نگاهی به کتاب مدیریت ترسیم فضا
كتاب « مدیریت ترسیم فضا » اثر «مهدی دریانی»، مدرس گروه معماری دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد شهر ری، توسط انتشارات اول به چاپ رسيد.
دکتر احمد خوشنویس در پیش مقدمه این کتاب ضمن قدردانی از مولف کتاب گفت: «کتابچه ای که در اختیار دارید حاوی نکات گوناگون از ترسیمات دنیای واقعی بر روی صفحه ی دو بعدی است. دنیایی که واقعیات آن سه بعدی به نظر می رسد. ».
دکتر احمد خوشنویس میگوید: «حرکت دید ناظر و حرکت جوهری محیط هیچ وقت یکسان نیست. بعد حرکتی بودن چشم ناظر در راستای درک محیط و توجه به امیال و عواطف وی از نکات بسیار مهم ادراک محیط، بویژه در معماری است. با این حال اولین قدم اگر ثبت آن چیزی باشد که در دنیای بیرون وجود دارد، نیاز به دانش پرسپکتیو قطعی به نظر می رسد و همینطور برای معرفی فضایی که در دنیای خیال خلق شده است، ضروری می باشد.
وی ضمن بررسی دانش پرسپکتیو افزود: «در بررسی که از این مجموعه داشته ام، آن را برای نوآوران و علاقه مندان این بخش مفید دیدم. امیدوارم همگی کسانی که به شکلی در فرآیند آموزش و سنجش دانش پرسپکتیو قرار می گیرند از این کتاب بهره کافی را ببرند.»
همچنین مهدی دریانی مولف و کارشناس ارشد معماری، ضمن انتقاد ار شیوه آموزش دانش پرسپکتیو گفت: « سال های سال است که در دانشکده های معماری ، روش تدریس درس پرسپکتیو به شیوه ای فنی است، بطوریکه دانشجویان بعد از آشنایی با اصول کلی ترسیمات جهت ترسیم فضا از مدارکی نظیر پلان ، صفحۀ تصویر ، خطوط راهنما و ناظر استفاده می نمایند و اگر پلان را روبه روی خود ، روی کاغذ نداشته باشند ، نمی توانند فضا را ترسیم نمایند . این روش با پیچده تر شدن پلان ، وقت بسیار زیادی را گرفته و ترسیمات را با مشکل مواجه می کند.دانشجویان تنها جهت پروژه درسی از این روش بهره می برند و پس از گذراندن آن درس به دلیل عدم کاربرد عملی این روش ، حتی مبانی ترسیمات را نیز به فراموشی می سپارند و از کامپیوتر به دلیل سهولت بیشتر جهت ترسیمات فضایی بهره می برند . بدین ترتیب پس از مدتی بکلی روش ترسیم پیشین را کنار گذاشته و برای داشتن خلاقیت حجمی در طراحی معماری از پرسپکتیوهای دست آزاد بهره نمی برند . در صورتی که طراحی معماری ، همیشه با طراحی با دست آزاد ، پیوندی ناگستنی داشته است .
وی افزود: «در این نوشتار تصمیم برآن گرفته شده است که روش جدید جهت ترسیم فضا و مدیریت آن بیان شود که به ترسیمات سرعت بالایی بخشیده و مدارک اضافی حذف شوند ، بگونه ای که طراح بتواند تنها با تصور بخشی از پلان طرح ، از زاویه ای مطلوب ، فضا را ترسیم نماید و آن را به دیگری معرفی کند. »
این کتاب که حاوی روش پیشنهادی سریع ترسیم فضا به صورت مرحله به مرحله است، روش ترسیم را توضیح داده است. این کتاب در سر فصل هایی نظیر: مدیریت ترسیم فضا به صورت ۱ نقطه گریزی ۲ نقطه گریزی ۳ نقطه گریزی ۴ نقطه گریزی ۵ نقطه گریزی و ۶ نقطه گریزی و همچنین شامل بخش های مدیریت ترسیم سایه ها، بازتاب ها، سطوح دوار ، شیب دار و حجم های تداخلی است .در انتها انواع خطوط واقع در محیط و روش ترسیم فضای ساخته شده به همراه ۱۰۰ اسکیس و طرح معماری از معماران معاصر ارائه شده، و چگونگی ترسیم فضاهای مذکور توضیح داده شده است.
